Piedmont Park Center Stage
A community dojo since 1998, Emeryville Taiko brings the modern "kumi-daiko" form of taiko drumming to the Bay Area. With origins in the religious ceremonies and folk festivals of Japan, modern "kumi-daiko" style emerged from the work of jazz drummer Daihachi Oguchi in 1951. Since then, kumi-daiko has experienced a worldwide renaissance that began in the 1960s and continues to grow today.
RENEGADE OPERA was launched by Jewelz Moya in in 2019. As a trained vocalist having performed with P-Funk Allstar and Ronkat Spearman, as well as a Soprano in the Oakland Symphony Chorus and Chamber Singers, Jewelz created a one-woman show as a Lyric Soprano accompanied by complete orchestral background tracks to classical famous operatic arias from classics like La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, La Traviata and so much more. Jewelz now performs at venues and concerts of all sizes, with one of the festivals attracting 30,000 attendees. She performances songs in many different languages including Italian, French, and Czech.
In 1992, LIKHA-Pilipino Folk Ensemble was formed in San Francisco to celebrate Philippine culture and tradition by collecting and preserving indigenous Philippine art forms as expressed in music, literature, dance, arts, crafts, and attire. LIKHA has performed in many international dance festivals around the world, including Croatia, Brazil, and one in Portugal later this year.

Han Martial Arts
Han Martial Arts is a small school located in the Montclair Village of Oakland, where students receive personalized training in martial arts as they learn self-defense, improve physical fitness and have fun in a positive environment. The school was founded by Master Han, an accomplished martial artist who won championships for South Korea and even coached the national taekwondo team in Taiwan.
Hiiiwav is a West Oakland incubator that helps Black artist-entrepreneurs grow through a residency that brings together space, community, capital, & education. Hiiiwav's artist showcase will feature Meaghan Maples, who draws on her roots in classical choral and gospel, as well as Tyler Reese, an urban contemporary artist passionate about honest songwriting delivered through timeless sound. Tyler's performed at Mr. Tipples Jazz Club, Amber Lounge, and The New Parish and has been featured on streaming playlists Ripple Effect: Bay to LA and Rnb Radar.
Oakland Samba Revue is the San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere banda de gafieira. Featuring a full horn section with tightly crafted original arrangements featuring 3 vocalists, O.S.R. draws on the sounds of samba de gafieira; an eclectic form of traditional samba from Brazil. O.S.R.’s unique brand of samba de gafieira includes heavy does of jazz, funk, forró, bolero and more.
