FOOD STORIES:
Curry Up Now

What's the origin story for your food business?

Curry Up Now started as a pipe dream for Akash and Rana Kapoor. They had always loved feeding large groups of friends and family at home, and wanted to bring that feeling of creating and sharing a good home cooked Indian meal to a larger community. What started out in 2009 as a single food truck, today has expanded to 3 trucks and 7 brick and mortar locations nationally.

Why is it important for you to bring food to the world?

Bringing our brand of Indian food to the Bay Area and beyond allows us the ability to be ambassadors of our rich, diverse culture, and to hopefully bring joy to those that are trying Indian food for the first time.
